I had caught this kabutomushi in the summer, but I didn't want to open it, so I let it sleep in the fridge for a long time.
I finally opened it on Sake Day, October 1st.
Summer is over, but it was so hot that I could just barely feel the summer.
The sourness is as strong as they say.
I can kind of see why it was called lemon squash.
The sourness was more subdued than I expected, probably because I let it sit in the fridge too long.
But the taste is outstanding.
Because of the pleasant sourness, you can drink it easily without feeling the alcohol.
I wanted to add lemon juice to it, but it was gone in an instant before I could do so.
I'd like to catch it again next year.
