I am "Iwase Sake Brewery". The brewery was founded a long time ago, and it is not certain when the brewery was born. It used to be called "Iwase Sake Brewery" after the founder, but the name was changed to the current "Koukoku-haru" during the Meiji period (1868-1912). The origin of the name "Phantom Waterfall" is said to be "Ken-Otaki" located in the upper reaches of the Kurobe River, at the very end of the Kurobe Gorge, which is called "Phantom Waterfall" because it is hard to reach due to its steep terrain, even though the sound can be heard. When I first put it in my mouth, I thought, "Oh, it's a beautiful sake," but as soon as I swallowed it, the aftertaste that came up came out, and I wondered how peculiar it was! It is a rather sweet sake, but the aftertaste that lingers in the throat is dry. It is rather sweet, but the aftertaste that lingers in the throat is dry. This is the 633rd bottle of the one-cup, one-pack festival.
