Takeyuu is a sake brewery located in Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Takeyuu is a sake brewery that was featured in the manga "Mijishinbo. Takeyuu is famous for its Honjozo sake, but this time it is a Junmai Ginjo sake, Black Label.
It is made with Yamadanishiki and brewed with Ogawa yeast, which has low acidity. Rather than a mellow umami-kuchi, it is slightly sweet with a crisp bitterness that makes it perfect as a mid-meal drink. It is a gentle sake that does not match its name, Takeyoshi.
