Nama-ripened Unblended Sake: Forever with Sea Horsetail
This sake seems to have been made for eating sea squirts. It is a matured type sake and has a punch, but it has a strong apricot sweetness and is very easy to drink without the unpleasant matured feeling. I usually don't like this type of sake, but I like this one. There are no sea squirts, so I served it with scallop kamaboko (fish cake). It is quite heavy, so depending on the fish, the sake might win out, but for some reason it goes well with strong fish.
