This is an obscure sake brewery in Chichibu, but its history dates back to 1728.
It is dry and has an iron-like acidity. The Yamahai is only noticeable if you ask for it, but it is not harsh. It can be drunk neatly.
It is quite dry, so it is quite good as a food sake.
It is a cosy product, priced at 1100 yen for a four-pack! I may repeat this if I see it again.
