Le Lac
Since the Sanzo drinking tour in Omachi was cancelled, I thought I'd just get in the mood for Self Sanzo Meijin No. 2.
This brewery is famous for Hakuba Nishiki. Driving between Omachi and Itoigawa, you can see many signboards and get a sense of the breadth of the brewery's sphere of influence. At events, they pour heated sake in rapid succession, and I personally consider this brewery to be dangerous.
The image of this brewery is that of a clean, almost tasteless and odorless sake.
But this was a little different.
It has a fruity aroma, a hint of gas and sweetness, and bitterness when swallowed. It's very good.
The brewery offers five different kinds of sake made from different rice, which makes you want to drink it.
