Only Yamadanishiki produced by Kushira in Shinomine is used. It has a juicy mouthfeel with the melting sweetness of ripe fruit, and the umami is so great that one would expect it to be bitter and pungent as well, but it is so smooth and refreshing. It is thick yet silky and delicious. I drank it at a corner store while my child was waiting for an exam and bought it immediately because it was so good. I am a terrible parent.
