It is said to be the world's first doburoku brewed with rice bran from rice grown without pesticides or fertilizers.
I had never had doburoku before, but the taste was different from what I had imagined.
First of all, it had a strong sourness, which is typical of mizu-hashiroshi, which was surprising.
Of course, the sweetness was also strong, and there was a refreshing yogurt-like flavor.
It was not at all unpleasant, but rather addictive.
There are doburoku made by private brewers around my house, so I thought I would try it from now on.
