The challenge to conquer OCEAN99 every season.
The first time I drank "Nagi" was too delicious. Because the hurdle of "Nagi" is too high, the expectation level is inevitably raised.
It is a "summer sake (unfiltered unfiltered sake only available in summer)" and I want to drink it cooled down to a crisp. The minerality on the palate and the good balance should be easily accepted by anyone. Since it is a summer sake, the aftertaste is also refreshing.
However, although it is delicious, it lacks punch due to the fact that it is a summer sake. The heat treatment may have affected the taste, but I would like to see more acidity and gassiness. I have been drinking mainly nama sake and orikarami sake recently, so this is a big reaction to that.
The cost is the strongest at 1,595 yen. Almost the same amount as the cost of cool delivery (lol). ocean99 will continue to be a seasonal purchase for me.
Personally, I would like to see a "yokozuna" level placement of standard sake that is not seasonally related, like Jyushiyo's Honmaru.
