One of the growing number of craft saké 🍶 I bought this on the recommendation of my favorite liquor store. The brewery is Happy Taro Brewery, which of course I had never heard of before.
This is delicious!!! But with plenty of foul taste lol.
As its ingredients and name suggest, it has a distinct herbal and lemon aroma.
The taste is very acidic, with a distinct sweetness, but not sticky. It contains rice, but the flavor of rice is almost imperceptible.
The alcohol content is low, and despite the cloudy appearance, the sake is easy to drink.
As a professed sake lover, I don't know how to rate it 😅It's good for those who like sweet sake, but honestly, I feel it's more like a liqueur 💦.
and I still can't sort out the positioning of craft saké in my mind 🥲, so I think I'll hold off on buying it for now.
