Yamaguchi Sake
Daimine 3 grains, the first sign of winter
This nigori (nigori sake) is a type of sake that is twice as popular as Sengoku's snowballs.
It is hard to find in Ibaraki, so I bought it at a liquor store in Okachimachi.
When the screw is opened, the lees float up in the bottle and snow seems to dance.
The sweetness and acidity are just right, and the beautiful umami flavor disappears quickly. It is just like snow melting. It is often called "clean sake," but this sake has no bitterness or other unpleasant tastes.
Sentori tastes fresh, while Winter's Visit tastes clear. I prefer this sake to Sentori. However, considering the availability, Hirotogawa is the best nigori sake.
I still have Ona nigori sake, Raifuku Moromi sake, Urasato nigori sake, and Takeyuki nigori sake in my refrigerator, so I am looking forward to comparing them.
