When you put it in your mouth, it is sweet. The sweetness is centered around the rich sweetness, and the acidity and bitterness are complex and soft.
Yum!
The rich sweetness has a deep flavor spreading through it. This is exactly what I imagine Dewa Sanzu to be. I love this rice.
I also like the pleasant bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste. It was wonderful!
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would compare it to Gina from "Red Pig. It's full of colorful sweetness, but there is a complex thought swirling behind it.
