Miwa Sake Brewery's brand name is Kessen Sekigahara.
We bought a set of three bottles at a roadside station in Ono-cho. This is the middle sake.
Today, we visited the brewery. We bought several bottles of sake and sake lees.
Kessen Sekigahara consists of three bottles: a Junmai Daiginjo East Army, a Junmai Daiginjo West Army, and a Junmai Honjozo in the middle.
The Honjozo was served first.
The aroma has a strong alcohol-like scent.
The mouthfeel is slightly sweet from umami and bitterness without acidity. It is not a distinctive taste, but it is a basic taste that one should try the East and the West based on this. I decided to leave half of it and drink the eastern and western varieties tomorrow.
