It's hard to drink Houraisen. It's been a while.
Ahhh, it's delicious...
It's very elegant. Of course it has the weight of an aged sake, but as it's a namaishu, it feels somewhat fresh. It has a sweet aroma and a sour taste that comes later. It is thick with sweetness, but mild to the tongue. It is mild and mellow. It is also crisp and has a clean aftertaste.
Umami-udai!
