Bright, juicy aromas featuring overripe strawberry, peach, some pineapple, and hints of star anise and basil. The nose is reasonably intense, but occupies only a corner of the bouquet of possible ginjo aromas.
The palate is bold and spicy with acid, astringency, and umami each taking turns to stand in centre stage. Raisins bring along a faint brown sugar and caramel-like sweetness. The acid is curiously focused at the front of the mouth with a mouth-watering effect.
Medium-long finish.
