Sari純米大吟醸
Tomita__Junko
I traveled to Fukui.
This sake was a top choice as a food sake at a local liquor store. The name "sari" is derived from the image of sushi rice, and the motto of this sake is to accompany and complement the meal as a mid-meal sake.
It is a Junmai Daiginjo with 50% polished rice, but it has a clean, refreshing flavor that goes well with less aggressive Japanese food such as sashimi as a mid-meal sake.
According to the explanation of the brewery, they were asked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send it overseas, so it is labeled in English, but it is not a fruity type of sake, very good. 😊
