Clear and colorless with a slight yellowish tinge. The aroma is mellow, reminiscent of rice and nuts, with a hint of alcohol. The aroma is slightly strong. The mouthfeel is smooth. Soon after, a sense of alcohol comes out and the astringent taste spreads. The finish is sharp with a medium aftertaste. A mellow sake.

The following is a quote from the label. The fermentable sugars in the unrefined sake are completely consumed by the yeast, which gives the sake a hard, robust flavor. We named it "Yama no Nemiru" (Mountain Sleep) because of its taste, which resembles the tranquil scene of a winter mountain.
