Alcohol content 14 Other undisclosed While wandering around Nishiki Market in Kyoto, I visited a sake shop that looked like it had a nice atmosphere, so I went to Asano Sake Shop KYOTO! As we were examining the refrigerated cases, we were surprised to find that we could sample all the sake. After tasting the ones I liked, I asked, "Since this is a special occasion, do you have any Kyoto-only sake brewed by the Matsumoto Sake Brewery?" This is what he recommended. I was so impressed with the taste that I immediately bought it and brought it home. Now then, let's get down to business! When you open the bottle, you will hear a gas? It makes a popping sound. The aroma is very fresh, like muscat, and you are enveloped by it. As you enjoy the soft, slightly tight Fushimi water, the sweet and sour taste of muscat and the taste of prunes envelop you. Lately I've been sensing a hint of grapes in sake, but am I right? The finish is well balanced with a nice sharpness. Overall, the sake is light and tastes good when well chilled, especially in the hot summer months. The Matsumoto brewery is to be feared. Thank you very much for your kindness this evening!
