I tasted it at the Kyoto Sake Spring last month and bought it for home drinking because I thought it was a little unusual, a sake made with Association No. 8 yeast. It won a platinum award at this year's Milano Sake Challenge, so I guess it is well received overseas. I thought it would certainly go well with French and Italian food rather than Japanese food. I'm sure it will be a good match for French and Italian food.
