It's almost a month bri JAPAN. We did the real shochu, especially the single malt, iodine tincture kind of stuff. The sake we drank today was bought at an agricultural antenna shop in our neighborhood. It says on the label that it is a nigori-shu (a kind of sake made by heating sake) which is originally exported, but it is distributed in Japan as a raw sake. It is slightly foamy and pleasant to drink. I almost finished the whole bottle, but I came back to myself and left about a third of it for next time. It was good. The taste is relatively firm. It's refreshing, but also has a nice firmness to it, so it's good with all kinds of food, Japanese, Western, and Chinese. It seems to be available only for a limited time, so if you see it, I recommend it.
