This namagenshuu from Rihaku (Shimane prefecture) is a thick-bodied, moderately sweet high-umami sake that packs a lunch at 17% ABV. Notes of mango, peach, and green apple. You don't feel the alcohol so much on your palate, but you'll feel it in your body after a few sips!
Drank it slightly chilled, and the aroma and flavor opened up as it warmed to room temperature.
