風の島の菊鹿We had junmai and shiboritate honmai (at separate restaurants). Junmai is refreshing and delicious. Goes well with sashimi. It comes at it from a different angle than Niigata's neat, dry sake. No wonder it is so popular. The Shiboritate Honkai is much more powerful than the Junmai. I'd like to take my time with this one. It might be good warmed up. The food was from Yatsuhashi-san's place in Toyama City. The fish, or rather the seafood, was exceptional. They decorated our last night in Toyama.
