Year-end trip to Akita for three nights
We left the day before, but the ferry we had booked was cancelled and the border between Shinshu and Niigata was closed due to heavy snowfall.
We managed to get to a roadside station in Yuri-Honjo and took a nap at a hot spring facility in the blizzard.
Then, it was snowing on the Oga Peninsula again this morning, so we went to Odate, where we had taken lodgings.
On the first day, I felt as tired as I did on the third day.
Well, the first drink of my three-day Kitashika trip was a hinadori!
It's refreshing and goes down easy!
It's dry, not too sharp, and the sweetness that lingers afterward is delicious!
