The aroma of rice is high. When you put it in your mouth, the umami sweetness of the rice spreads crisply. As is typical of junmai sake, it is robust and comes on sharply, but the aftertaste is refreshingly sweet and umami, and then disappears. There is no unpleasant alcohol taste. It is delicious.
