Nakano Loves Nakano, sold by Nakano Sake Sales Cooperative, is a "Junmai-shu" (pure rice sake). Although it has a colorful feel, it is brewed by the Yamatogawa Sake Brewery in Kitakata, Aizu. It is surely dry.
The aroma is subdued. The aroma is subdued and the taste is very dry. And there is a subtle brown sugar type sweetness with a bit of richness. Hmmm, this is delicious. This full-bodied slight sweetness shines through. Yamatogawa Sake Brewery is famous for Yaemon, but I have not had much of it. Maybe I should try to track them down a bit.
