This sake is made by Nishi Shuzo, which has produced a number of popular potato syochu liqueurs, including Chibi Chibi, Tominohozan, and Tenshi no Temptation.
In 2014, for the first time in 40 years, Hamada Shuzo, a shochu producer in Kagoshima Prefecture, started to produce Japanese sake and released Satsushu Masamune.
Following that, President Nishi took on the challenge of brewing the most difficult to find sake of the day, Jyushiro, a senior at Tokyo University of Agriculture, with advice from President Takagi, and brewed an excellent product, Nishi Shuzo's TENBU.
