I went to Ward's, my usual place for heated sake. I went to Ward's, which I always go to, to buy a bottle of gyozake, which I had wanted to try. They had some old sake, but I thought it was a bit peculiar, so I went with this one.
I started with it cold. It was full, aromatic, and a little thick.
Then we tried it warmed. The aroma and flavor of the sake spread quickly in the mouth, and I gulped it down. Delicious.
This sake is perfect for warming up.
