This is one that I did not pick up because it was too standard. Prices of seasonal sake have gone up dramatically across the board, but I have the impression that prices of standard sake like this have not gone up much.
It is a quiet sake, but since it does not interfere with the accompaniments, I think it is a good food sake that can be served with anything.
It doesn't have much aroma or taste in the mouth, but it has a nice balance of bitterness and acidity. Then, the sweetness comes in as an accent, which adds thickness. The spiciness can be felt throughout, but I think it is connected to the tightening effect and the crispness at the end.
It is a stable sake.
