It took a little while, but I had it.
It is my favorite sake. It is smooth on the palate and has a light melon-like aroma that is typical of Sanbon. It has the refreshing taste of Gohyakumangoku, but the bitterness of the original sake finishes it off. I ate it with menchikatsu (fried pork cutlet), and it went very well.
