Because the yeast is still alive, it has a fizzy but clean taste. Although it is a pure sake, the alcohol content is not high at 14 degrees.
The aroma is fruity and reserved.
The taste is robust, but the mouthfeel is soft and easy to drink.
It is made with 20% Yamada-Nishiki rice and the premium rice is a rare variety called "Nikkomaru" from Nagasaki Prefecture, but it received the highest rank of "Special A" in the "2023 Rice Taste Ranking" conducted by the Japan Grain Inspection Association.
The aroma of the rice is distinct, so the evaluation may be divided, but I personally like the aroma.
This sake has a "friend who has been visiting for a long time" feel to it.
