Isohajime" is a Japanese sake brewed in Yaizu. The so-called Honjozo (Honjozo) distributed in the prefecture [Kenbonshu]. Melon, creaminess and softness with a nice sharpness. Outstanding cost performance: 1 square @2,310 tax included If this reasonably priced Kenpon is this good, how good are the other honjozo? Serve with Yaizu black hanpen and dried bonito halamo! Kiyonishiki rice from Yamagata Prefecture is milled to 65%. Isoban is the only brewery in Japan that uses Kiyonishiki sake rice. Kiyonishiki is polished and used for koji rice and the first and second brewing stages of the three-stage brewing process, while Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture is used for tomezome (the third stage).
