The rice among the three varieties found at the liquor store was Miyamanishiki from Akita Prefecture.
It was less sweet and a little tangier than Ginotome, sweeter than Gohyakumangoku, and had a slight grape-like aftertaste.
Each of the three types of Murasaki Uchu I drank had its own differences, but they were all delicious.
