I have wanted to try Katsuma for a long time.
I don't have many opportunities to drink sake from Toyama Prefecture.
The aroma that rises is a little fruity, a little like a ginjo aroma.
In the mouth, it is more rice-like than fruity.
It is full of umami. It also has sweetness.
The acidity is not so strong, so there are no corners and it is soft.
From the mid-palate, the slight bitterness and fruity flavor returns and the finish is refreshing.
It is easy to drink.
I've been drinking a lot of hot sake lately, but this one is very easy to drink and tastes great cold.
It's not too fancy, so it's good with food. It is also good on its own.
