玉旭純米原酒生詰
風の島の菊鹿
At first sip, ugh, it smells like sake (a compliment) and is very strong (also a compliment).
I would have definitely avoided this flavor when I was chasing after fruity liquors. But not now. Now that I am an adult (an old man), I can appreciate and enjoy this sake.
When I tried it heated to the hilt, you see, it changed. The sweetness and sourness of the rice gently oozed out and warmed my body. It's delicious, delicious. If you mix a little soda with the hot sake, it's a whole new dimension. In no time at all, two cups of sake were gone.
It also went well with oden and yellowtail tataki.
