The last station of the Shiga sightseeing tour, Maibara. I bought a return ticket and wanted to buy some souvenirs and a box lunch, but I couldn't find any stores near the ticket gate. I thought there might be something in front of the station, so I got off at the north exit, but there was only a small bento box shop, and it was raining outside.
I went to the south exit and found a small shop selling locally produced and locally consumed food. I bought a bottle of Kinkame, Shiga Kirin beer, Sukeroku, salami, and squid snacks at the kiosk, and had a party on the bullet train on the way back home.
