At an izakaya in Nara Prefecture (forgot to take a picture)
The sake was brewed in a wooden vat, and the color of the vat made it smell like drinking from a wooden wooden sake cup, even though it was drunk from a ceramic cup!
The flavor of the sake was good, of course, but the aroma spread strongly to the taste, and I felt a slightly peculiar sourness.
It might have tasted better if it had been heated.
