Inside the bottle with a cute illustration of a snowman is pure white nigori sake. It has a sweet aroma like wasanbon and a silky texture.
The alcohol content is light at 13%. The tangy gas that is typical of active nigori can be felt, and the sake finishes with a clean, dry impression that keeps you going back for more.
Yamada Nishiki harvested at Domaine Sakura in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, Senkin's hometown, is used. The moromi is filtered several times by hand, and a lot of time and effort is put into this winter sake.
