遥瑛チチI would have loved to enjoy the Beppu night, but I was tired from driving, so I decided to have a relaxing drink back at the hotel!
I bought some drinks and snacks at a local supermarket under the elevated railway tracks of Beppu station, and returned to my room.
Here is the sake I chose!
Sansui Special Junmai Sake
Old Matsu Sake Brewery (Hita City)
According to a Google search, this sake won a gold medal in the sake-for-dinner category at the "Delicious Sake in a Wine Glass" sake awards sponsored by the Institute of Sake Culture.
It also won a gold medal in the "Value-priced heated sake, lukewarm category" at the "Heated Sake Contest 2020".
We are very excited that we might have won something great. ❗️

The aroma is white grape with a hint of alcohol.
The drink is refreshingly fruity.
The finish is dry with more acidity than sweetness.
The sharpness is sharp and you will never get tired of drinking it!
I wanted to save some for tomorrow, but by the time I realized it, 80% of it was gone 😅...
