We opened a bottle of Hanaboe, which we had not been able to get our hands on because we were scared of the "beware of opening the bottle" tag, because we couldn't stand the heat! But it opened easily without spilling, probably because it had been chilled so hard... But it didn't mix well, so I put the lid back on and turned it upside down a few times! Bubbles! The first thing that came after opening the bottle was a sweet and sour lactic acid aroma. When I drank it, I expected the unique sourness of the previous Hanaboe, but there was no characteristic sourness like that, and it was really a lactic acid beverage with a pleasantly refreshing gasiness! It is somehow similar to the doburoku made by Ina and Agape. Although it has 17% alcohol by volume, it does not have an alcoholic taste, and if you drink it in gulps because it is refreshing and tasty, you may be in for a world of pain later... The stirring didn't seem to have gone well, and the amount of lees in my drink was different from that of the person I was drinking it with, so when I drank my friend's, it was something else, even more silky and thick... Perhaps it is because I have been drinking a lot of characteristic summer sake lately, but drinking something in a different direction seems to have given me a new discovery, and I may have started to seek something more unusual. In any case, I can easily recommend this Hanaboe to many people and will personally repeat it!
