After being intrigued with Kikunoi's Honjozo, Kuroishi sake, which was served at the inn where I stayed for my Tsugaru Peninsula drive and Iwakisan Shrine visit, I had some time before returning the car in Hirosaki, so I visited the rice field art at the end of the day and Kuroishi.
When I found out that Narumi Sake Brewery was located on Komachi Street, I couldn't help but go in and try the sake, which is only sold at the store? It was a limited edition, so I bought it.

The alcohol content is 17.5 degrees and the rice polishing ratio is 50%, and it calls itself Junmai Daiginjo, so I thought they are not too particular about it.
It is delicious, with an elegant mellowness that you can feel the high alcohol content, yet it has a straightforward and clean taste!
We were recommended to drink it chilled, but we couldn't because of our location, so it was at room temperature, which may have accentuated the mellowness. I would like to try it cold!
