Kamikigen Junmai Ginjo 2200 yen (4 gos. bottle)
We opened this bottle last night as a gift. It is a famous sake, so we had high expectations! We had cabbage nabe and fried squid to go with it.
When I opened the bottle, I could smell a little strong alcohol smell.
The first attack was a strong sweetness, followed by a strong acidity. It was dark and thick, which was a bit disappointing since I am used to the freshness of new sake these days. The label on the back of the bottle recommended heating it up, so I will try heating it up tomorrow.
