I went to Wajima by chance. This is the first sake I drank there.
As the label says, it is light, more like a classic sake, with a low alcohol content of 9%, which makes it easy to drink. It has both umami and acidity.
While many stores in downtown Wajima have yet to reopen for business, we purchased this sake at Freshland Maruko, one of the few supermarkets that remained open until relatively easy to use hours.
It has been almost five months since the disaster, and there are still many collapsed houses blocking the roads, but the media coverage of the disaster is decreasing, and the local people are worried that the disaster will be forgotten.
As in the case of the Great East Japan Earthquake, we ask for everyone's continued support. We should not forget about Tohoku, though.
