Well, it does have an acacia or woody aroma!
I wonder if this is due to the wooden vat brewing process...
It is similar to the special feeling of drinking Masu sake.
When you sip it, you can feel the sweetness and acidity that only Shinmasa can offer.
It also has a matured feeling like whisky, perhaps due to the wooden barrel brewing process.
My wife agrees with me and says it tastes more mature than Cosmos.
