Hyakuban ACID by Bannoi Sake Brewery in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture
The following is quoted from the HP of the sake brewery
This is a limited quantity sake that was brewed in a small experimental tank as a challenge tank, separate from the regular Hyakuban series. The theme of this sake is acidity, so that it can be drunk in summer. The normal ratio of rice in the Momoban series is 6%, but we raised it to 20%. The acidity is 0.4 to 0.6 higher than that of the regular Hyakuban series due to the higher percentage of high acidity sake mash. Since it was brewed on the theme of acidity, the English word for acidity, "ACID," was used as the product name, and the label was designed with a lightning motif to evoke the stimulation of acidity.
The label is designed with a thunderbolt motif to evoke the stimulation of acidity.
