It's been quite a while since I've had "Gunma Izumi".
I had been saving it as a souvenir sake from Manza, but I realized that half a year had passed, so I'll have some 👍.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, I could smell the aroma of rice and straw. The mouthfeel is beautiful, as is typical of Gunma sake, but soon after, the unique flavor of old sake and a pungent, chili pepper taste come in.
The acidity is typical of Yamahai sake, and while it is beautiful, it is also delicious with a strong punch!
It goes well with the savory flavor of bonito tataki.
It has some quirks, but it is relatively easy to drink among the same type of sake.
Even though it's been a while, the stability is the same 😋.
