To start off the summer sake, we opened a bottle of local "Haneya Summer Junmai Ginjo"! Hanedaya brews its sake with water from the Tateyama mountain range, making it a very popular summer sake 🤩 The low alcohol content of 14 degrees gives it a light touch and a refreshing ginjo aroma. Today we have aji (horse mackerel), which is in season, and tuna, which will be in season from now on in the Sea of Japan. The tuna is the offspring of the tuna known as "Meji-tuna" 🐟.
