Shiga Sake Festival in Otsu 2025⑧

Quite a few people lined up at this booth.
◉Kirakucho Josen Nama-nazake
Another retro label caught my eye. I tend to respond to retro labels these days.
Served at room temperature. A standard old-fashioned sake with a robust umami flavor. It has a good umami and a slightly mellow sweetness. A limited edition sake from last year. Sold only in one bottle, it is a dangerous sake with an alcohol content of 20 degrees Celsius, although it is so good that you can drink it all the time.
◉Kirakucho Junmai-shu second
Second is an evolution of first. The second second is an evolution of the first, with a gentle citric acidity and a sweet, sour and refreshing taste. It is the first of its kind at this brewery.
◉Kirakucho Junmai Ginjo-shu first
The concept of first is to make sake that even first-timers can enjoy. The aroma is gorgeous and the taste is sweet. Mineral and a little loose.
◉Kirakucho Junmai Daiginjo Chukkumi kore
A premium sake with a clean, elegant flavor that can be drunk like water. It also has a pleasant bitter aftertaste.
