This sake is from the second oldest sake brewery in Japan, introduced to me by a local izakaya on a trip to Akita.
The sake I purchased was Yamahai-brewed, which means it has a presence that appeals to me while retaining the miscellaneous flavors of sake.
The sake had a slight sweetness that matched very well with salty foods.
