Tonight, we have Kirizukuba Hatsushushibori Light Nigori from Urasato Shuzoten ✨ This one is popular with Ogawa yeast users.
I was attracted by the combination of Ogawa yeast, Gohyakumangoku, and light nigori, so I bought it 😅.
Let's start with the supernatant. It has a rich sweet aroma of muskmelon red flesh, which is typical of Ogawa yeast, and the taste is very delicious as if you bit into a whole muskmelon 😋 Also, although this sake is alky, there is no stinginess in the aftertaste at all, and the bitterness and spiciness show up and the balance is excellent 👍.
The spiciness of the aftertaste is doubled when the lees are involved, making it a sake with a different expression. It is a fun sake 🤗.
