A rare visit to Ganki's brewery was followed by a tasting at the Hanshin Department Store.
I asked them how rare it was for them to come to a department store, and they said they come twice a year.
First, we were allowed to try the first pressing of the new sake.
Ganki Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-shu No-2
Fresh and fruity from the moment it enters the mouth. It has a sake-like taste afterwards, but overall it is clear and clean. It is so good that one can't help but say, "Oh, it's so good!
GANKI Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake No.1
The impression is that it is an authentic and deep sake with a firm umami and acidity, full and robust.
GANKI Prototype
Test brewed at 15 degrees Celsius. It has a citrusy acidity and is easy to drink, with a more modern and modern feel.
I thought it was a rare type of sake that GANKI did not have, so I told them that Yaoshin Shuzo had also started brewing this type of sake.
It is hard for breweries to take on new challenges, but I think it makes sense.
Above all, it is nice to be able to drink different types of sake🙏.
